Welcome to Ystwyth Ventures.
YV is the consulting firm for Peter Gradwell. Until April 2020, I was the Founder, CEO and then CTO for Gradwell Communications Limited - a business that started life in my student flat, and grew to be a leading UK Cloud Communications Provider, providing telephony and internet for over 20,000 UK small businesses.
In 2020, I have launched two new ventures:
- Ystwyth Ventures Limited - a consulting firm providing interim CTO support, Information Technology consulting and private equity advice.
- IQ Mobile Limited - a UK SIM-Only mobile operator providing great value monthly SIM only contracts for voice and data, to consumers, business and the IT partner channel.
I'm continuing to support the Gradwell team & remain a shareholder.
Some ways I can help include:
- Provide advice to get your start-up going, especially if you need to implement some tech.
- Help you prepare to talk to venture capital firms.
- Move an established business forward - perhaps by sense checking an IT strategy, moving some or all of your business to the Cloud - e.g implementing Office365, good quality wifi, secure VPNs, etc.
- Implement a new accounting system/CRM (Xero, Netsuite, Salesforce, Hubspot).
- Do a feasibility study for your next project. (Also implementation plan, problem analysis, 1st cut process model etc).
- Conduct a strategy study for your business.
